Unexpected Arrival

“Walking into the hall, being surrounded by cameras, T.V presenters, and what not”. “We immediately thought that it was someone very special”. We sat down, then Mr Burt asked us, “So, is anyone familiar with the band, The Black Eyed Peas?” Everyone started chanting, “then I clicked, its WILL.I.AM!!!”

Due to the traffic, he was a bit late. So we practiced our school song... “to taaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaake” next we practiced how we were going to welcome him.... WELCOME WILL.I AM, yep, we're ready. Mr Burt Agreed

WILL.I.AM, dashing through our very own school hall. You could just hear everyone whispering, “ why us?”. As our very own mysterious V.I.P guest, we welcomed him with a very huge, enormous, CHEER!! “ Welcome WILL.I.AM”

“My heart was beating a hundred times a minute”, as soon as he sat down, Vivienne started the day off with a prey in tongan, then Patrick, started saying his prey in maori. Then Kapa Haka got welcomed onto the stage, to capture the audience, once again... “HE”, woohoo :D

There was a little break, then Hip Hop took the crowd by storm.

Everyone thought that this special moment was coming to an end, then WILL.I.AM, walked up with a $100,000 cheque. He told Pt England School his very own personal childhood story. Then he handed the cheque to the adult, Patrick. The way he said thank you is called a Hongi.

After that a member of the hallenstein brothers, came and presented him a Pounamu, they said a very long speech, that i’m surprised that I understood. After a very long time, we finally sung our School Song. Then we got sent to class.

Camp argument

In the year 7 & 8 camp you can learn loads of things, you can have lots of different experiences In your team and make new friends because every team have partnership, participation and they protect each other.

We believe that having a yr 7&8 camp isn't a bad idea, its just that our parents think its too much to pay. I can't argue with that but they know it goes on a good cause. Like when you get older you can learn new things that helps you.

Our parents think that the price should be put down at least $15 dollars, so that we can be allowed to go and some fun. $15 should be fair for three days. Some people believe that the money is worth it because we are paying to learn new things that can help us when we get older.

So you don't have to agree to any of these suggestions but just think about the kids.:) And the most fun part of camp is that we can get into our PJs and get ready for a SENSATIONAL MOVIE with everyone.

Camp is a really good opportunity for skills, fun and new friends. The bad thing is that you are away from your family for almost a week. And if it rains the fun turns into inside games!

My Character Description about Sarona

Today I am going to be writing about my best friend Sarona. Me and her met when we were 3 years old and we were besties at that age! Our families are very close. They started to be close before me and sarona even met!

She looks like a normal girl because she has short light brown hair, brown skin and she is short. She is different to other people because she is funny, energetic, helpful, caring and nice. She enjoys playing music, smiling and playing with kittens. I enjoy talking to her everyday because I like keeping in touch I also like laughing at her jokes.
If there was no such thing as school me and sarona wouldn't of met she is that kind of person that never gets mad and that is always happy.

When I was young...

I remember when I was young I did a lot of stupid stuff. Like when I was 4 years old I cut a long piece of my hair off and the next day when I got in trouble I blamed the shampoo. I don't know what I was thinking when I said that.

And I also remember when I was 4 years old I was looking in the mirror in the bathroom and grabbed one of my brothers razors and started to shave everywhere around my face but I wasn't touching my face with the razor. I started being silly and started to pretend to shave my eyebrow but then I bumped into something and shaved most of my eyebrow off! I didn't noticed because I didn't feel anything! I got into big trouble because there was only a quarter left of hair!

On that year I did a lot of stuff to my hand. One night the stove was turned off by my sister and it was still hot. So to solve my problem I got a plastic bag and covered my hand with the bag. I banged my hand on the hot part of the stove and I burned my hand!! I was thinking that the plastic bag would stop my hand from burning but it made it worst!

And when I turned 5 my cousins came over and celebrated. When they were leaving my family went outside to say goodbye while I was inside planning on doing something that my mum does. I ran to the sewing machine and turned it on, I put my hand under the needle by accident and the needle went through my nail! I was crying hard out because the needle was still in my nail.

A very hot day

“waiting in line thinking if I was ever going to get my ice-cream before I burn to death”. The sun was boiling and everyone was at the beach in the soothing COLD water, While i was standing in line I was jealous of their luxury. I was up to the last person in front of me, I could just smell the ice-cream.” My mouth was all dry from waiting for a LONG time, I was excited until the unthinkable happened, they RAN OUT OF ICE-CREAM!!! I just froze there in line... As soon as I got a hold of myself I immediately ran into the ice cold water. it was Very very soothing... If only I had my ice-cream I wouldn't of been wet!
